What you need to know about dressing for Fall 2013

So let me start off by saying first, that these pictures are not mine- they're from Tumblr. Second, that these are not all "fall" pictures, but I'm trusting that you're not so exhausted from work today that you can mentally replace a crop top with a cute fall appropriate substitute.
Our first topic of Fall Trend discussion are Fancy Pants. I am a HUGE fan of fancy pants. If you love big comfy t-shirts, such as I, these are the best thing ever. You can pair them with heels or flats, depending on where you're headed- and any kind of top. As you can see there are t-shirts, crop tops, and even blazers involved here. You can basically do no wrong, and if you do end up doing something wrong, I'm sure you'll know right away.

 Our second topic- Statement Jackets.
A lot of people buy one or two jackets per season. If you don't have the means to buy more- there's nothing wrong with that, if you buy the right ones. You should have a jacket that is great for everyday wear, and one that is great for going out at night. It's even better if both can be worn on any occasion.
A leather jacket is never wrong. You can find really nice one's for under $40. Black, brown and tan leather jackets are awesome and go with anything, but unusual colors are even better! Always buy something interesting and pay close attention to detail. The texture of this first black leather jacket sets it apart from all the others, the embellishments on the second jacket make it eye catching, and the leather patchwork in the third picture transforms a regular white blazer into a to-die-for piece.

Third topic: Mens' Influence
This fall is all about a masculine influence. The blazer crept up on our casual wear around 2005 and it's evolving into an even better sleeveless species. The first two pictures are sleeveless blazers. Perfect for the begining of fall, or even all through it, depending on where you live.
Also, over sized button ups are amazing. You can wear them unbuttoned as blazers, or buttoned all the way up for a nice casual look. Just remember, if you're feeling super lazy always pair your casual outfit with a killer bag or shoes. This way you have something of interest going on and you don't bore innocent bystanders to death.

Celebrity Look of the Week: Bella Thorne

Here is Bella Thorne at the premiere for The Mortal Instruments. She may be 15, but girl has style. She wore a black and white Alexander McQueen mini dress with a stained glass print, paired it with kick ass neutral color block heels, and a long messy braid.

Bella hit it dead on with what's trending for Pre Fall. A lot of geometric and black and white patterns, paired with natural, carefree hair.

Our Pre Fall season is starting September 1st.
Here's a sneak peak:
