Celebrity Style Inspiration of the Week: Blake Lively

So we're starting a new weekly post dedicated to celebrity style.

We don't want to venture too far into Celebrity Blogging, but as celebrities are a huge style inspiration to a good chunk of the population, we've decided to do this to further inspire our readers to step up their fashion game!

This week we've been inspired by Blake Lively's ensemble at the New York premiere of Turbo.

Blake always manages to look flawless. She has this effortlessly beautiful charm about her at all times, which is why we have a total girl crush on her. Here, at the New York premiere for Turbo, she chose a simple gray tank with a jeweled-out high-wasted pencil skirt and nude pumps. She also wore a light gray cardigan, but took it off for the pictures.

While this ensemble is amazing, the cost of the burberry skirt alone would probably prevent most from being able to pay their bills. So we've put together a lower cost, more casual, and just as fabulous must have substitute!

So let's talk about the tank first. This is a basic jersey knit racerback relaxed fit tank top from h&m. Make sure your tank top is the appropriate color, not ribbed (no wife beaters), and that its a loose, relaxed fit. Spaghetti straps are not the best option for this looks, as they tend to look like your missing a cover up of some sort.

The skirt is a blossom print pencil skirt from Topshop. This skirt is a bit more casual then the beaded Burberry pencil skirt, as you guys probably don't make a habit of going to movie premieres. However, this skirt will give you the same sophisticated-yet-simple look.

The shoes are nude colored sandals, as opposed to nude pumps. Sandals or more casual and a better option for a summer day. These are from Target for only $29.99!
